Q - Who are the fires  shipped with?

A - Parcelforce for all the fire except for the 60 and 72inch fires which are shipped via pallet - we ship everyday and you should expect your delivery 1-2 days after shipment.

Q - Where does the heat come from?

A - The heat comes from the top of the fire angled into the room (not directly upwards) in most of the fires, except for the 26, 36, 50 and 72 inch Black inset fires where it comes from the front.

​

Q - Can i have a TV or Painting above thes fires?

A - Yes - The heat does come out of the top of the fire but it is angled into the room and as long as there is a 30cm+ gap this application will be fine and we have had many customers using our fires for this.

​

 

Q - Are these wall hung electric fires quiet?

A - Yes - silent on flame only mode, small noise on heat mode - you do not have to change the volume on the TV - we guarantee these fires are quiet.

Q - Can you have these electric fires on flame only mode i.e without the heat on?

A - Yes you can.

​

Q - Why are these wall mounted electric fires such good value? Are they graded or returns?

A - Nope - we are a 'direct from manufacturer' company and order via the container load - we have a narrow product range as we must order in bulk (600 fires per container) and therefore we can offer these unbeatable prices to you the customer.

Q - Do you have a shop I could visit?

A - No we are online only.

 

Q - Can these electric fires heat a room well?

A - Yes, we test this by putting our fires on in a 12*12 room and shutting the door - when we entered the room 10minutes later the room was considerably warmer.

Q - Whats the warranty period on the fires and how does it work?

Q - What`s a presale or preorder?

A - This is an advance order which we offer customers on stock in transit - usually new products. We tier the prices of these so that customers can get a huge saving on usual RRP in return for waiting a while for the product - we clearly state when the stock is due in and normally the presale starts 6-8 weeks before the stock is due into the UK.

TruClean Toilets FAQ

Q - Who are the toilets shipped with?

A - Parcelforce for all the toilets seats and the full toilets are via pallet due to their weight - we ship everyday and you should expect your delivery 1-2 days after shipment.

Q - Why do you only have one toilet and seat available?

A - So many websites these days are flooded with options making it virtually impossible to choose! We have two products which does everything you could need in a toilet or seat, it has all the functions you need so to save confusing the customer we just sell this one of each.

​

Q - How easy are these to install?

A - The Elegance Toilet unit is simple to fit, it has a P Trap waste with a water inlet. See the question below about the water pressure when considering installation below too.

The Smart Seat is easy to install too, normal fitments for a toilet seat are included along with all the pipework needed. A water inlet is needed. No pressure requirements are needed with the seat. Any plumber can easily fit these toilets/seats. Power is required for both, see the question below about power for more info.

Q - Is Power required for these and what are the laws?

A - Yes a power supply is required for both of these. If there is just a toilet and/or washbasin in the bathroom then a normal UK socket can be installed legally to plug the toilet/seat into. If there is a shower/bath within 3meters then one of the following will need to be done:

​

1) A plug socket inside a sealed cabinet.

2) A fused spur hidden inside the wall space.

3) The wire red though to another room and connected to a socket in that room.

​

Any electrician can do one of the above for you for minimal cost.

​

Q - What water pressure is required for the toilet to flush effectively?

A - The Elegance Toilet doesn`t have a traditional Cistern system, it uses the mains pressure to flush. Therefore it has to be strong enough. Recommended is at least 0.7 bar of pressure. A plumber can check this for you easily. The more pressure the better the flush will be. If your pressure is low or you want it improving you may require an accumulator and/or a water pump. Again any plumber can do this job, it`s very simple.

Q - Do these have a UK Plug?

A - Yes, a normal 3 pin plug for use in any UK socket.

Q - Who are the units shipped with?

Q - Why do you only have one unit available?

A - So many websites these days are flooded with options making it virtually impossible to choose! We have one product which does everything you could need in an air conditioner, it has all the functions you need so to save confusing the customer we just sell this one.

Q - How well will this cool my room?

A - The size of the room is key here of course. At 9000BTU this TruCool air conditioner is more than capable of efficiently cooling a good sized room - we would estimate it efficient for a room 26 by 26 feet. (8 by 8 meters). Other factors come into play such as insulation, whether the doors are all closed, electrical appliances on in the room (which generate heat), obviously the weather and also how the unit is installed/used (see the next question for further information)

Q - Do i need to have an outlet (exhaust duct) to outside?

A - The simple answer is no this isn`t a requirement of the unit to work, however if you understand the principle of how the unit works most efficiently they yes it is advisable. The TruCool air conditioner works by pumping cold condensed air into the room while sucking in the hot air already in the room and expelling it outside. So if you don`t have an exhaust duct to outside then the hot air will just be exited behind the unit back into the room, so the front of the room will cool down and the back will stay the same so the overall cooling effect will be reduced.

Q -How is the outlet (exhaust duct) installed?

A - The TruCool air conditioner comes with a 1.5m exhaust duct and a window adapter which will fit a range of windows. Most people don`t have these units installed permanently as a feature in the home but just use them as and when required so most people will just open the window and put the exhaust duct out manually, either approach creates the same desired effect.

Q - How big and heavy is the air conditioner?

A - 320×348×680(mm) or 12.6*13.7*26.8(inches) and Weight - 22kg

Q - How easy are these to move around?

A - The air conditioning unit has wheels underneath so it moves around easily, if you do need to pick it up then it`s not too heavy and has two lift handles on either side.

​

Q - Does this have a UK plug?

A - Yes a normal 3 pin plug.

​

Q - How loud are these air conditioners?

A - Any air conditioner has to not only expel cooled air firmly into a room but suck the warm air in and expel it - this is quite clearly not a silent process! Anyone who has been abroad and experienced the air conditioners in hotel rooms will know they aren`t silent! Having said that at a maximum noise of 54db the aren`t loud but if you are having them on maximum cooling and you are trying to watch the TV then expect to have to raise the volume slightly!

Q - Do you have to drain these?

A - Not often, and only when using dehumidifying mode. The reuse the water so emptying is not often.

​

Q - Are these good heaters?

A - We think the heating function of these units is a fantastic addition and something a lot of these don`t have on the market. Anyone with a conservatory will know what even with a radiator in there they can be cold in the autumn/winter and require another source of heat to warm them up! Our units can do this job, providing a good level of warmth to certain rooms when the main central heating is off or the room itself is naturally cool (conservatory/garage etc)

Q - How does the WiFi function work?

A - A user downloads an app called Tuya Smart and then connects the unit to the app, then every function on the unit can be controlled via the app. Please note - only 2.5gHz wifi will work with this. You can then connect other devices to it.
